Lots of our great customers mention that they make Miso Meatballs with our miso so we tried making them last night for our dinner 😊 We used our chickpea miso this time and it was super yummy! We think it deepened the flavors and added some sweetness

We're having shrimp for dinner and guess what we did with the shells? We used them to make dashi (broth) for miso soup 🍲 We use some kind of dashi, umami-rich stock, to make miso soup in Japan. The common, traditional way in Japan is to use kombu (

Koji & Miso Production week. It was great to see some sunshine this week 🌞 It's supposed to be cold again this weekend. We hope you have a warm and cozy weekend 🤗

Our kiddos went back to school this Monday after the holiday vacation. I'm back in the kitchen and have been busy with the first production of Koji and Miso of 2026, also getting ready for @bfmvermont for this Saturday, 1/10.
